Married the year we graduated, and worked at the newly started business, Petersburg Children's Center while my boys were growing up......and for 20 years. We laughed SO much every day!
Went back to school the year I took my youngest son off to college, and have been a nurse for 16 years now.
I've been very blessed to have two careers and two sons who I LOVE......and now 4 amazing grandchildren who I spend as much time with as possible.

Now why is it that I can never remember the stories people tell me I should write a book about when I actually would like to write them down?

I LOVE to travel. Adventures are good for the soul! Did it all start with holding up that banner we colored in Mrs. Longworth's 4th grade class to welcome the brand new Alaska State Ferry Malaspina as she eased down the Narrows toward the dock? We waved and yelled; the crew tooted and waved (: Or was it while getting sprayed with saltwater in the PBY bubble? Perhaps gliding in for a landing with Lloydie in the Goose? Growing up near the water, I woke up and went to sleep with the sound of planes taking off and landing; as a teen and young adult I really wanted to learn to fly--but ground school was pretty expensive....Flying just isn't as much fun anymore, but gets you quickly to the sites of other adventures! Road trips are probably my favorite!! (:
