besides just keeping up w/everyday life,I attended Business college in Spokane, moved to So. Cal, got hit with major earthquake third day there, was on freeway going north to Spokane in one big hurry. No one had to ask me twice. My mama didn't raise no fool!!! Moved back to NW and went to work for our fine governor (whomever it was in 1978) and stayed for a 28 year career. Retired March 31, 2006.

I remember 5th grade in Mr. Thynes' class found a snowball still in parka poket, opened window, let go and hit Mrs. Smith right on her bald spot. Don't think anyone has ever movrd out of a window so fast.
Gribble and I decided one night to act out song "Call Me Mr. Blue" for my parents. Hams!
While in freshman yr, one day studying history homework, tried to say name of Etheopian queen! Finally realized was same as my own, Candace

We always wondered how Ms. Evans always knew when we passed notes and who did it. Ginger wrote t me not long after we left to say she had mirror's on the ear pieces of her glasses, A very smart lady way ahead of her time our Ms. Evans.

I maintain that if you go down town and listen to the men gathered to talk or sit in the harbor master's office every morning, you would hear the BEST STORIES EVER T0LD. Not saying they are absolutely trueee!!!!!! But, they are entertaining.

I have not traveled much. Always busy with babies or something. But, if I could, I would see our fabulous country first , beginning with the only state I have ever truly called home. Alaska.
