We moved to Juneau, in May of 1997 and have been here since. My oldest son, Cliff Jr and his family live in Ore. and my youngest son Louis lives here as does his sister Mary. I have been involved in sports since 1965 and have played and coached basketball. I coached Little League baseball in Petersburg for 15+ years and still coaching slo-pitch softball here in Juneau. I haven't played basketball since moving here to Juneau but I think I can still beat Mike Schwartz.

What was really strange was when my oldest son Speed, (his nickname that he goes by given to him by his grandfather) was given a locker in the new middle school. This was our old high school then. Anyway, he was given my old locker from high school, all by coincidence and when I saw number 28 on the locker I tried my combination and it worked. Should have seen the look on my son's face, nothing but shock. Shocked me even more that I still remembered the combination.

My most enjoyable trips were music festivals and always getting the superior rating. I certainly enjoyed the Ketchikan music festival because I missed the boat and they flew me down and the boat that took everyone down ran into rough weather and everyone got sick.

I have been to Wash. DC to watch my daughter graduate from her AIT in the National Guard and been to Disneyland, Oregon and almost all over Southeast Alaska and Anchorage.
