Mike: I see you have entered the literary world with your poetry. Good Luck. It is even more competitive that writing novels. I hope to finish mine this coming year, the story of a young woman who wants to go halibut fishing. sound familiar? I finished a vietnam book twenty years ago then shopped it around as hard as i could. i might rewrite it or go the ePublishing route after a pro edit. I have a very good editor in Albequerce (sp) who i was referred to by a writer friend in Palos Verdes Estates down the beach from you. She has recently published the 6th in a series of character Josie Bates, atty, Redondo Beach. Her husband was a superior court judge, subbed for Ito on the simpson trial and worked with the State supreme court. no wonder rebecca (rebecca forster)(husband Czuegler from Torrance). She wrote police procedurals before the josie books)
I assume you are still living in newport beach. we operated ocean going tugs around the two pumping islands off of long beach. got bounced from the fishing business in 1995 when the fishery went IFQs or individual fishing quotas. I didn't qualify for any quota from the schooner i had for a short time.
Anywho mike send me a note...to writervik@gmail.com. i am not fond of using this software. Take Care. Neil Sandvik
