School Story:

Prime example of "No Child Left Behind".

High School was difficult for me. It was a nightmare.

I was made fun of because I was obsese, quiet and shy. I had no friends!

But I did not dwell on what happened with the nightmare I was in. I turned the negative into positive.

I'm not as fortunate as my siblings as they still live with the unfortunate incidents that created their personality.

When I reminisce, I think about how I went to college and have a degree, how I was voted to sit on a board of directors for a native corporation, how I giving back to the community, how I was selected to light the "Petersburg community Christmas Tree", how I was appointed to be the master of ceremonies to dedicate the native mural.

All this I quietly learned by attending PHS. Thank you for the opportunity to become a strong and valuable person!

I have taught my children they can succeed and become whoever they want to be.

Favorite Petersburg story:

Often, to many shows to sell my husband's hand-graved jewelry and Alaska native art. We are attending a show in Reno 2010.
