Bill's obituary was posted in the Petersburg Pilot 2/11/2016. He lost his battle with cancer January 16, 2016 in Anchorage. He was born December 29 1953 to Sara MacFarland and Ona (Onie) Brown. He was #8 of 10 children and resided mostly in Tacoma then later moved to Anchorage. He was a logger, farmer, and a Computer Tech.

He was survived by three children Dannielle Brown, Crystal Estell, and Dustin James-Brown; three grandchildren Michael Mann, Quintin Brown and Amanda Estell; and one great grandchild Kayson Alexander-Mann.

The family plans to put a headstone next to his fathers in Petersburg at a later date. There was no address listed for the family.
