Rick Whitethorn

Rick Whitethorn

Independence - Rick was born in Petersburg Alaska to Elmer Whitethorn and Margaret Roundtree Whitethorn.

He was loved beyond measure by his wife, Patricia Whitethorn. The two of them had many great adventures and Pat is left with memories and love she will never forget.

Rick had such a happy life in Petersburg and was so proud to be a member of the "Lumber Street Gang" He told wonderful stories and his eyes would light up remembering his friends and cousins, parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles. He loved them all dearly and they loved him.

Rick is survived by his wife Pat, his two canine "kids" Jack and Lucy, daughter Angie, step-daughter Allie, his grandsons, Greg, Brendan, Ethan and great-grandson Blayze.

Also his many friends who were a blessing and he loved them so.

I would like to send a huge thank you to Willamette Valley Hospice for the wonderful care and kindness they gave to Rick.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to American Cancer Society.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
