Jon Ness

Retired in May of 2009 after 35 years with the Postal Service. Of those, was Postmaster for 27 years. Only Postmaster with longer service was Dick Brennen.
Was very active with my Postmaster organization and served on many National committees.

Many memories come to mind but probably the most enjoyable were connected to all the travel in SE Alaska I was able to do connected with athletics, especially being BB manager. I do remeber something about a certain coach being shortsheeted on the Ferry going to Prince Rupert on year.

Recent years I have been bitten by the travel bug.
Jeanette and I have been to Poland and Germany in 2005. Also Greece in 2007. We hope to be in France and Spain soon.
