You always knew where you stood with Lester. He was a friend to all and one was always 'lifted' by being with him for a bit. He was one of my first friends when I started school in Petersburg. He was just a pleasure to know. Saw & visited with him on a regular basis whenever me & my family went to Ballard.
Lester placed the highest value on his many friendships extending from Dutch Harbor to Seattle's Fishermen's Terminal. We lost my brother in a shipyard accident in 1997. An angel lived among us all too briefly.
