Robert was a good friend. As children we were neighbors. What an imagine Robert had! At his direction, we were pioneers, explorers and adventurers. When Robert started working overseas, I always enjoyed his stories of exotic faraway places. I last saw him in the hospital before he passed on. Although his eyes were closed, I talked to him of mutual memories, friends and told him I appreciated his friendship. He was a good person and true friend.
I have fond memories of Robert as a sort of big brother/protector of my sister, Linda, and I in our little neighborhood. As an adult, he had travels and experiences that most of us have only dreamed of!
