Henry was one of the most kindest and talented men that we ever knew.He was my brother-in -law but to me he was my loving brother.We miss and loved him dearly.In 1968 Henry got crushed by a tree and nearly died.He overcome all of the obstacles from having a broken pelvic and damaged knee to become member of BP Ak and a traveling referree to villages in interior Alaska and Anchorage right up to his death.He moved to Ancorage to continue

Elwin (Kippy) Klein (1965)
To the family of Mr. Henry Allen,I grew up with Henry. My nick name was Kippy. I loved his whole family, and would eat at their house by invitation. One time they had seaweed soup, and I had a hard time with that, and his mother let me off easy about half way through the soup.
You may not know it, but I went back to Alaska to see Henry when he was recovering from his tree accident logging. He said he would never log again. Glad to know he went on to a better success.
